To truly understand why we were created we must first take a moment to understand the context that led to its development. We'll explore a set of example applications by looking at the technologies currently used by developers to examine how real-time functionality has been achieved before and explain how to solve the challenges associated with these technologies. Let's start with a set of sample applications that would benefit from using the real-time data synchronization feature. In our application we have a frontend UI which accepts user account creation form data. After submitting this form we insert the data into the database.
